about

After a few months without producing, I finally finished this new album. This time, the songs have a winter theme, which perfectly matches the moment they are released, in 2020 winter solstice.

The songs are truly inspired by Celtic religiosity, which can be seen in each of their names. "Coming of Cailleach" refers to the Celtic goddess Cailleach, queen of winter who has dominion over the dark half of the year. "Ghrianstad" refers to the winter solstice festival celebrated by the Celts, in which "ghrian" refers to the goddess Grian, honored during this period. In addition to these, there are "Opening of Féth Fíada", "Tír na nÓg" and "Aes Sídhe", in which each has a meaning. I also wrote a "winter synth" version of the Swedish folk song "Herr Mannelig", a song that I really appreciate.

Anyway, 2020 was a very difficult and sad year for many people, no doubt, but it helped us to give more value to small things, which before, in prosperous periods, were almost ignored. It was a year of great learning, and we hope now that we use these learnings to make 2021 a better year.

Thank you all for listening. I appreciate each one of you who support me. I also thank, especially, Gustavo (Illusory Gates) and Matheus Roberto for helping me in the production, I love each one of you.

The songs were recorded at home, between the months of October and December.
